Money4YOU Celebrates 10th Dragons Den Event and Special Awards Ceremony: Pitch to win a Grant of up to £10,000, Meet Funders, Network with BAMER-led organisations

Money4YOU is thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Dragons Den event, convened by Carol Akiwumi MBE, since 2012. The event, which has connected UK and International grant makers with those serving the most marginalised members of society will be held on Friday 16th September 2022 as a hybrid event (in London and online).

To mark this milestone, Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) led organisations from around the country will have the opportunity to pitch for multiple Grants of up to £10,000. We are also pleased to announce that we will present 10 special awards to celebrate and showcase the inspiring work of some BAMER-led non-profits who are serving the most underrepresented members of UK society.

As well as judging funding pitches, funders will be invited to network and make connections with BAMER-led organisations. Over the years, we have had representatives from leading Trusts and Foundations such as Arts Council England, BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, CommUNITY Barnet, Edge Fund, The National Lottery Community Fund, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Matrix Causes, Prism The Gift Fund, Procressi Initiative, Trust for London, Tudor Trust, Comic Relief, and Esmee Fairbairn.

Participants will have the invaluable opportunity to make connections with other BAMER-led organisations and gain a better understanding of how the grant-making process works. Exhibitors will also have services and products tailored to attendees and their service users. The evening will be peppered with Afro-Caribbean-inspired music, food, and drinks.
