I am delighted to invite you to join us on our mission to eradicate the economic inequalities experienced by under- represented youth, non-profits and entrepreneurs. At The AVOCADO Foundation, we are driven by a vision of a world where no one faces economic inequalities because of the colour of their skin or their ethnicity.
We achieve our mission through three key pillars: Quality Financial Education for youth, Capacity Building support for non-profits, and Entrepreneurship & Business Development Training for entrepreneurs, which also aligns closely with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 4, and 10.
We are seeking exceptional, passionate and committed professionals to join our Board of Trustees. We are looking to fill three crucial roles: Treasurer, Secretary to the Board, and Fundraising & Business Development Trustee. About our Board of Trustees
The AVOCADO Foundation’s trustees are responsible for governing the charity and overseeing its management and operations. Their primary duty is to advance the charity’s purposes by setting its strategic goals, direction, and future plans.
They ensure compliance with The AVOCADO Foundation’s governing documents and the law, maintain The AVOCADO Foundation’s accountability, manage its resources responsibly, act with reasonable care and skill, and ensure that The AVOCADO Foundation is serving the public benefit.
