#WORLDCHANGERS AWARDS
A celebration of the people creating real change across UK, Africa and beyond.
About The AVOCADO Foundation
The AVOCADO Foundation puts funding, visibility and decision-making into the hands of Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER)-led organisations, starting with AVOCADO DEN, our participatory grantmaking programme.
The #WorldChangers Awards recognise BAMER-led organisations building resilience, and the leaders behind them. This year, we flip the Den: funders pitch, and grassroots leaders hold them to account.
Traditional grantmaking and sponsorship often exclude those closest to the issues. We redistribute not only money, but opportunity, voice and agency.
About the Event
The AVOCADO #WorldChangers Awards, proudly hosted by Salesforce, are the UK’s premier celebration of grassroots leadership, community wealth-building, and social impact within Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) led organisations.
This isn’t another standard awards event. It’s a high-impact evening that brings together the grassroots leaders making a difference in our communities, the corporate and philanthropic partners who back them, and everyone who believes their work deserves to be seen.
