The AVOCADO Foundation’s CPD-Accredited “ Uses of Money” Course: Equipping Young People to Master Their Financial Futures

London, UK

23 April 2025

The AVOCADO Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its newly CPD-accredited Uses of Money training course. Designed to equip young people – particularly those from underrepresented communities – with essential financial literacy skills, the course supports participants to make informed decisions about money today and in the future.

At the heart of the Uses of Money is a deep commitment to improving financial wellbeing and providing young people with the practical tools they need to thrive. The course is built around four core principles: saving, spending, sowing, and sharing. These pillars provide a solid foundation for young people to understand, manage, and grow their finances effectively.

Why This Matters

For many young people – especially those from low-income backgrounds or marginalised communities – financial literacy can feel out of reach. At The AVOCADO Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of financial education. This course gives young people the confidence and knowledge to manage their finances wisely and plan for a more secure future.

CPD accreditation not only enhances the credibility of the course but also increases its value for participants looking to improve their financial skills and gain recognised learning.

What You’ll Learn:

Saving: Develop positive habits to build financial resilience

Spending: Make informed, intentional purchasing decisions
Sowing: Explore the basics of investing for long-term growth

By the end of the course, participants will leave with practical strategies and a greater understanding of how to manage their finances in real-world situations.
